The Auckland LEGO® User Group (“AuckLUG”) is a community group for adult LEGO® fans based in the Auckland region, New Zealand. We run events, exhibitions, and activities for members and the public.

1. WHO ARE WE

We may collect personal information from members of the public, including:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Date of birth

  • Any other contact details you choose to give us (for example, when registering for an event or subscribing to updates)

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for our activities.

2. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information when you:

  • Become a member & opting-in to receive communications from us

  • Buying tickets to a Brickshow or another exhibition

  • Entering a competition or prize draw that we have facilitated

We collect and use personal information to:

  • Communicate with you about AuckLUG events and activities

  • Manage event registrations and attendance

  • Respond to enquiries

  • Promote AuckLUG and its community activities

We take reasonable steps to keep your personal information safe, including:

  • Storing information in secure digital systems

  • Limiting access to authorised AuckLUG committee members only

  • We are required to do so by law

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected, or as required by law. Information that is no longer needed is securely deleted.

  • Ask for corrections if you believe the information is incorrect

  • You can also ask to be removed from our mailing lists at any time.
